AZ Max welcomes you to join us for our four-part 2024 implant education series, with guest lecturer Dr. Steven Goldstein. Sessions will focus on both fixed and removable implant prosthetics. Discussion points include (but aren’t limited to):
- Soft tissue management
- Provisionalization
- Material selection and use
- Insertion and cementing protocols
Failure and complication “pearls” - Comparison of removable options and material selection
- Digital photography
- More (including participant-selected topics)
Meals and course materials provided. 8 CEUs per session. $1000 tuition for the full series.

Fixed Implant Prosthetics
Cases showing implant supported fixed prosthesis with emphasis on, soft tissue management, provisionalization, material selection and use, insertion and cementing protocols.
Failures and complications will be discussed.
Removable Implant Prosthetics
Cases showing implant supported fixed and removable prosthesis.
Detailed clinical steps and material selection for hybrid cases will be reviewed.
Failures and complications will be discussed.
Case Share/Treatment Planning
Participants will bring their own cases for review and treatment planning.
Digital Photography
Using digital photography as a tool for treatment planning, case management, and marketing.
How to setup and use a digital SLR camera.
Image management; including storing, sharing and backing up.
About Dr. Steven H. Goldstein, DDS
Dr. Steven H. Goldstein received his DDS degree in 1985 from Georgetown University. In 1990. Dr. Goldstein completed the three year graduate program in Periodontal Prosthesis at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds two advanced dental degrees; one in Periodontics and the other in Periodontal Prosthesis/Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Goldstein maintains a full-time private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, limited to implant, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona State Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Goldstein is an online Xpert on DentalXP, providing lectures on various topics to the worldwide dental professional community. He has authored a chapter on Digital Photography and Digital Asset Management in the book, “Implant Aesthetics.”
He has lectured nationally at various dental conferences on fixed and removable implant dentistry, dental digital photography and digital asset management.
