Dr. Trevor Allen, a native of Smithfield, Utah, is a highly accomplished Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at AZ Max Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. With a passion for drawing, painting, and the health sciences since childhood, Dr. Allen’s unique blend of artistic talent and medical expertise has shaped his career in the field of oral surgery.

Education
Dr. Allen earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Michigan, where he excelled academically and immersed himself in the art and science of dentistry.
Following his dental education, Dr. Allen completed a comprehensive one-year internship at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, broadening his surgical skills and gaining valuable experience as a clinical instructor.
Whether educating dental students or patients, Dr. Allen has a passion for being an exceptional teacher and leader. His priority is to ensure that everyone involved understands the procedure that is being performed.
Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Allen completed his residency at the prestigious University of Rochester Medical Center. During his residency, he received extensive training in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including orthognathic surgery, wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, sedation dentistry, and more.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Allen now calls Arizona home after having worked in a private practice in the Kansas City area. Dr. Allen is committed to providing the highest standard of care to his patients.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Allen finds joy in spending quality time with his loving wife, Dani, and their four children. They enthusiastically support their children’s diverse interests, from sports like soccer, basketball, and golf to artistic pursuits such as theater and orchestra. A date night for the couple usually consists of Pickleball followed by Mexican or Mediterranean food.
Dr. Allen loves being outdoors, gardening, and beautifying his surroundings. Although an average golfer, at best, Dr. Allen is excited to enjoy golfing with his children as they continue to grow.
