Three times in the last ten years he solved my implant needs and other challenges. Tonight I feel good enough to write a review after having Dr. Boyse extract a broken at the gum line tooth that had already received a root canal with crown. He managed to clear the infection surrounding the tooth and place an implant during the same appointment. The appointment was only 16 hours ago. I highly recommend both Dr. Boyse and his friendly ,professional, and helpful staff to everyone needing the very best oral surgeon. Roger AllenAgain exceeded all expectation!! Two days ago I broke a took at gum line that already had a root canal and crown. Dentist confirmed yesterday that it needed extraction and implants. AZ Max has a miracle employee named Jodee Brimhall. She managed to arrange an early morning appointment for today with Dr. Boyse for an infected tooth extraction and an implant at the same time, not just a consultation. Dr Boyse explained the process clearly and professionally. A different Jodi did great as a chair side assistant. Dr. Boyse has now demonstrated his Highly Professional Skills on me 3 times in the last 10 years. Each of my 3 different issues have been extremely successful . All of his staff were very friendly and helpful both in person and in follow up phone calls. I am feeling well enough to write this review tonight after early morning surgery help from AZ Max. Making me feel at ease. Today was the extraction. Again everyone very pleasant. I opted to stay awake and have usual anathesia. Dr Allen was wonderful he walked me through what was happening as he worked. I felt NO PAIN throughout the process! The whole procedure took less than 30 minutes! I am grateful this procedure was made so easy for me. I would highly highly recommended Dr. Allen and the staff at the Brown and Power location. If I ever need any other dental surgery this is where I'm going. Thank you to Dr Allen and Staff!Very professional office and staff. Felt welcoming and to the point. Thank you again!Only problem was the referral wasn't clear, and there is more than 1 AZ Max on power road and I entered into GPS and took me to the wrong one. Would be good to put office addresses on the referral sheet so we know where we are going. We as patients don't know there is more than one office if we've never heard of them.Dr. Fluckiger did a great job. Seamless extraction and caring staff I had a molar extracted, and my whole experience was seamless. The front desk ladies were genuinely helpful, making me feel supported with the paperwork and coordinating the X-rays from the referring dentist. The Dental Assistant made me feel comfortable and explained what to expect. Dr. Alan went over the procedure, and the extraction was flawlessI had three different practices I went to and I ended up here with Dr. Allen. I was trying to make it to work on time by 8 am so I showed up at the door at 7:30 am trying to figure out what time we could get my son into the office. I ended up running into Dr. Boyse in the hallway while waiting (I had never met him before but fortunately he had his name on his scrubs). My son quickly arrived and he was able to have his abscess lanced and antibiotics called in before 8:30 am. He even had an Xray performed to ensure there were no other issues. Very, very nice. The dentist was very thorough and explained very clearly.Everyone-from the front office to the dental assistants were very helpful. Dr. Lemieux is the dentist I saw for a wisdom tooth extraction. He is definitely good at what he does. I'm going on 73 years old and this was a scary thing to face. Dr. Lemieux made me comfortable throughout the procedure and reassured me to call if I needed anything or had any questions.I opted for local numbing, no anesthesia. Now 24 hours later I have minimal pain. I likely won't need Ibuprofen today. I took Ibubrofen twice yesterday. I was definitely in some pain once the numbing medicine wore off.Last time I was here I couldn't upload the photos, so here they are again. I have been in Dr Boyse's care for close to 20 years, and am still as thrilled with him, the care he provides, and all the staff in the office. He has done updates on my implants (I'm a terrible patient, crunching on nuts and grinding my teeth) as needed, and I'm so glad for all the support. If you need to talk about implants and/or other non-routine dental needs I can't recommend Dr Boyse highly enough. Over the years I've occasionally been seen by another surgeon here, all of them are excellent and caring. I would give more stars but there aren't enough.This is for the super office and medical staff all around. My appointment was for an extraction consult. I was very impressed with the pictures I saw of my oral cavity. The dental technician, while doing her Q&A with me, was very kind in explaining some of the images I asked about. They even brought me a blanket as I was chilled. I made an appointment to have the extraction and missed the appointment. I was so upset because they were able to get me in so quickly to begin with. Plus, it was a Friday. I called them up, and they were very nice and able to get me in early on Monday. They were so kind, and before I knew it, I was looking at my ride home and feeling numb and plumpy.Thank you Dr. Boyse for quickly scheduling my surgery. He performed a tooth extraction, bone graph and implant. The staff was very kind and attentive and the Dr. thoroughly explained the procedures he did. If you are looking for a great oral surgeon, he is the Dr. for you.Dr Romney did acknowledge that my mouth needed time to recover before initiating any implantsI had a tooth that broke off leaving just the roots that had to be removed. I had implants done by Dr Boyse about 20 years ago and continue to be in his care for 'maintenance' and making sure everything is great. Implants aren't cheap, depending on what you need, i.e. full replacements or just a couple, so when you make the decision you want to be aware of all care for your new smile. I can honestly say that the implant surgeries went very very well, and I never had any problems or discomfort - besides the inevitable post-surgery bruises that diminished soon. It is no easy task to extract all of the teeth of a patient with extreme Tremors. Most oral surgeons pack up and go home when confronted with difficult cases; not Dr. Boyse. The whole experience has been extremely positive. The staff are attentive and professional. The clinic shines from cleanliness and aesthetics without being gaudy.Not every man with a title or a degree can be trusted to do a complex surgery. I took my disabled brother to see Dr. Boyse. He needs to have all his teeth extracted because he has been unable to brush his teeth for 15+ years. He has lost most of his teeth. His gums are infected and he is not able to masticate most foods. I am seriously worried he will die soon, if left untreated. In fact another dentist has told him the gum infection can turn into full body sepsis and kill him. We arrived and we were welcomed by the kind receptionists in this clinic and a gentleman named Cooper explained to us the whole process. Then Dr. Boyse walked into the consultation room. This gentleman has an aura about him that exudes confidence, skill and professionalism. Within the first minute, our fears evaporated. We knew we are sitting in front of a man that can overcome all the dental surgery challenges facing my brother. Earlier efforts in the week to perform a CT scan of my brother's jaw had failed because of his extreme tremors. His head kept shaking and the CT scan was not successful. When we went to Dr. Boyse' clinic a few days later, I was worried how my brother can undergo such a big surgery given that he has uncontrollable and violent tremors? He has undergone 24 surgeries including some brain surgeries that damaged him. I think most dentists would feel some concern and anxiety to handle his case. They would be scared or at least feel not confident to handle my brother's surgery. Not Dr. Boyse! I saw no anxiety on his face and he was not any one bit worried. I was reading into his mind: this is a piece of cake and I know exactly how to handle this complex case. I honestly felt this gentleman is so experienced, so skilled and God-endowed with such control that he can handle my brother's surgery like Ronaldo can handle a soccer ball in front of an open goal. Dr. Boyse told us to leave this matter with him. I am grateful to him no matter where we go from here. We are blessed to meet him. We left the clinic with hope. I am grateful to all the team in that clinic.I highly recommend AZ Max, Dr. Fluckiger was very thorough with getting my wisdom tooth out and did a phenomenal job making me feel comfortable because I couldn’t get put under because I’m pregnant. Even checked up on me personally a few hours after wards to see how I was doing. And the staff was also amazing, from the second you check in the moment you leave it will be a feel professional experience. 10/10

I am now 74 years old and have several implants and bridges acquired over the years, mostly since my early 50s. He works very well with my Dentist and I am extremely happy. I noticed very early that the chemistry of his entire staff is extremely good at every level. They seem happy and well cared for. In my opinion, this speaks volumes for the quality care I am likely to receive. The tone of professional and human respect is set at the top and permeates throughout. They were fully impacted and I had never had general anesthesia before. Dr. Romney went through all scenarios with me and put me at ease for every step. Nobody enjoys getting teeth pulled but they made it a pleasant experience with their friendly attitude and I knew I was going home with medications and tools I needed to recover. Excellent work.Dr. Romney has removed 2 of my teeth and he is always caring and very honest. He also communicates with his patients even if it's an emergency call on the weekend and dealing with his own sick kiddos at home. Highly recommend!I was born with a severe open bite which caused TMJ symptoms, and accelerated bone deterioration (the condyle} that could have led to having permanent lockjaw if not corrected. When my insurance co denied the request for surgery, deeming it as a cosmetic procedure, Dr. Porter fought for me and provided additional medical proof that my surgery was medically necessary. My surgery was finally approved and there are now no visible signs that I ever had major facial surgery. He truly saved me.We have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Porter and the entire staff. We are presently up in Lakeside, AZ in need of an oral surgeon. There are none up here. Fortunately, Arizona Maxillofacial Surgeons travel to the area twice a month, I believe. They were referred to us by my husband's dentist as he needed one of his wisdom teeth pulled, It was cracked in half and, therefore, needed an oral surgeon. He was in extreme pain. This all came down on a Monday. We contacted AZ MAX on Tuesday and on Friday he had the extraction. They (especially Rebecca) worked overtime to fit my husband into the surgical schedule which was already packed. They bring an entire staff up to Show Low and everyone single one of them are professional and caring, especially Dr. Porter. You are in excellent hands, should you choose this facility!!!!
